HISTORY & BOUNDARIES
Ahlone Township is located in the western part of Yangon. The township comprises eleven wards and shares borders with Sanchaung township and Kyeemyin Daing township in the north, the Yangon river in the west, Dagon township in the east, and Lanmadaw township in the south.
Over 1,400 businesses situated in this area, over 22,600 employees working in these respective businesses, its united with 11 Wards, Area 2.7 sq km – Population Density: 20585.4/sq km, Total Population 55,482 people living in this township. Thakin Mya Park is the major park in the township. This park was reconstructed in 2014 and before was an abandoned park for many years.
Ahlone wharves administered by Myanmar Port Authority are located in southwestern Ahlone. Asia World has also operated a port in Ahlone since 2000. Ahlone International Port Terminal 1 is situated near to downtown of Yangon City, on the east bank of Yangon river. Modernized and dedicated facilities designed to handle container and general cargo with a new first-class wharf facility supported by a total terminal operation area of 190,000 sq,m. AIPT(1) wharf is (600 m x 30 m) allows (3) vessels up to DWT (20,000) as a berthing area to utilize conveniently alongside. AIPT(1) main gate has been built including offices for the convenience of port management for your valuable cargo.
While traditionally quite an industrial area, there are increasing condominium and housing options on this side of town, and they provide very good access to the downtown area. In fact, the roads through Ahlone are often used as a bypass through to the city when Pyay and Kabar Aye Pagoda roads are busy. The Indonesian school and the Japanese school are also here, so it is a popular location for those nationalities, and there are also many embassies such as the Chinese, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Laos Embassies that are located close by but just into neighbouring Dagon Township.
အလုံၿမိဳ႕နယ္ သည္ ရန္ကုန္ျမစ္ႏွင့္ ကပ္လ်က္တည္ရွိသည့္ အားေလ်ာ္စြာ ပင္လယ္ကူးသေဘၤာမ်ား ဆုိက္ကပ္သည့္ ဆိပ္ကမ္း သုံးခု အစီအရီ တည္ရွိၾကသည္။ ၎တုိ႔မွာ ေအးရွားေဝါလ္ဆိပ္ကမ္း၊ အမွတ္(၁) အလံုအျပည္ျပည္ဆုိင္ရာဆိပ္ကမ္းႏွင့္ ျမန္မာ့စက္မႈဆိပ္ကမ္း တုိ႔ျဖစ္သည္။ နယ္နိမိတ္တစ္ဘက္၌ ရန္ကုန္ျမစ္ရွိေနၿပီး က်န္ေနရာမ်ားတြင္ ၾကည့္ျမင္တုိင္ၿမိဳ႕နယ္၊ စမ္းေခ်ာင္းၿမိဳ႕နယ္၊ ဒဂုံၿမိဳ႕နယ္၊ လမ္းမေတာ္ၿမိဳ႕နယ္ႏွင့္ ဆိပ္ကမ္းၿမိဳ႕နယ္ တုိ႔က ဝန္းရံထားသည္။
ပါးစပ္သမုိင္းအလုိအရ မုံရြာၿမိဳ႕အလုံရပ္မွလူမ်ား ေျပာင္းေရႊ႕အေျခခ်ခဲ့ၾကသည္ကုိ အေၾကာင္းျပဳၿပီး အလုံရပ္ဟု အမည္တြင္သည္။ လြတ္လပ္ေရး ရရွိၿပီးခ်ိန္တြင္ အလုံတုိက္နယ္ဟု သတ္မွတ္ခဲ့သည္။ နယ္ေျမလုံၿခဳံေရးႏွင့္ အုပ္ခ်ဳပ္မႈ ေကာ္မတီလက္ထက္တြင္ အလုံေဒသစိတ္ဟု သတ္မွတ္ခဲ့သည္။ ၁၉၇၂ ခုႏွစ္ ဇြန္လတြင္ ေတာ္လွန္ေရးေကာင္စီအစုိးရက ရန္ကုန္တုိင္းကုိ ၿမိဳ႕နယ္ (၂၉)ခု ပုိင္းျခားသတ္မွတ္ရာ၌ အလုံၿမိဳ႕နယ္ ဟု သတ္မွတ္ျပ႒ာန္းခဲ့သည္မွာ ယခုတုိင္ျဖစ္ၿပီး နယ္ေျမအက်ယ္အဝန္းမွာ ၁ ဒႆမ ၀၄ စတုရန္းမုိင္ ျဖစ္သည္။ ေျမအေနအထားမွာ ျပန္႔ျပဴးၿပီး အေရွ႕ဘက္မွ အေနာက္ဘက္သုိ႔ နိမ့္ေလွ်ာက်ဆင္းသြားသည္။
အလုံၿမိဳ႕နယ္တြင္ ရပ္ကြက္ (၁၁)ခု ပါဝင္သည္။ ၎တုိ႔မွာ ေစာရန္ပုိင္ (ေတာင္)၊ ေစာရန္ပုိင္ (ေျမာက္)၊ ေစာရန္ပုိင္ (အေရွ႕)ႏွင့္ ေစာရန္ပုိင္ (အေနာက္) ရပ္ကြက္၊ ဧရာဝတီရပ္ကြက္၊ ကရင္ျခံရပ္ကြက္၊ လြတ္လပ္ေရးရပ္ကြက္၊ သစ္ေတာရပ္ကြက္၊ ဆင္မင္းရပ္ကြက္၊ ဂဠဳန္ ရပ္ကြက္၊ ဌာနာရပ္ကြက္တုိ႔ ျဖစ္သည္။ အေထြေထြအုပ္ခ်ဳပ္ေရးဦးစီးဌာနမွ စာရင္းမ်ားအရ ၎ ရပ္ကြက္မ်ားတြင္ အိမ္ေျခ (၃ ၂၃၈) ရွိၿပီး အိမ္ေထာင္စု (၁၀ ၉၂၈)စု ေနထုိင္ၾကသည္။ လူဦးေရမွာ ၂၀၁၇ ခုႏွစ္ ဘ႑ာေရးႏွစ္အကုန္ျဖစ္သည့္ မတ္လကုန္တြင္ (၅၄ ၈၄၃)ဦး ျဖစ္သည္။ ၎ႏွစ္အတြင္း ၿမိဳ႕နယ္တြင္းသုိ႔ ေျပာင္းေရႊ႕ေနထုိင္သူ (၆၉၆)ဦး ရွိၿပီး ေျပာင္းေရႊ႕ထြက္ခြာသူ (၁ ၁၄၄)ဦး ရွိခဲ့သည္။
စာတုိက္သေကၤတ အမွတ္မွာ (၁၁၁၂၁) ျဖစ္သည္။ ၿမိဳ႕ပတ္ ရထားလမ္းပုိင္းမွာ ဦးလူနီလမ္းအနီးမွ ဗဟိုလမ္းအထိ ျဖစ္သည္။ ဘူတာ႐ုံမွာ အလုံဘူတာ႐ုံ ျဖစ္သည္။
Business Collection Group (BCG) ၏ အခ်က္အလက္မ်ားအရ စီးပြားေရးလုပ္ငန္းေပါင္း (၁ ၄၀၀)ေက်ာ္ ရွိၿပီး လုပ္သားအင္အား (၂၂ ၆၀၀)ေက်ာ္ခန္႔ လုပ္ကိုင္လ်က္ ရွိသည္။ ထင္ရွားသည့္ အလုပ္႐ုံမ်ားမွာ ယုဇနအေအးခန္းႏွင့္ Bio Plus ေရသန္႔ အလုပ္႐ုံတုိ႔ျဖစ္သည္။

က်န္းမာေရးက႑တြင္ ထင္ရွားသည့္ ပုဂၢလိကပုိင္ ေဆး႐ုံမွာ အကယ္ဒမီေဆး႐ုံ ျဖစ္သည္။
