HISTORY & BOUNDARIES

Dawbon Township is located in the southeastern part of Yangon, Myanmar. The township comprises 14 wards and shares borders with Thingangyun township in the north, Mingalar Taung Nyunt township in the west, Thaketa township in the east, and Pazundaung township in the south across the Pazundaung Creek.

Around 1,000 businesses situated in it and total around 9,900 employees working in these respective businesses, total area 3.8 sq km – Density: 19,738/sq km, Total Population 75,325 people living in this township. The township has twelve primary schools, four middle schools and one high school. Dawbon is connected to downtown Yangon via the Maha Bandoola Bridge. This Bridge is a major bridge in Yangon, Myanmar built in 2001. The New Thaketa Bridge construction is implemented with the assistance of the Japanese Government. The new bridge is over Pazundaung Creek to link Mingalar Taungnyunt Township with Dawbon Township. The bridge is 4-lane extra-dosed one with 253 meters in length and 20.5 meters in width.

ေဒါပုံၿမိဳ႕နယ္ သည္ လူေျခေထာက္ ဒူးေခါင္းေအာက္ပုိင္းပုံႏွင့္ ဆင္ဆင္တူေသာ ပုံသဏၭာန္ရွိသည္။ ေဒါပုံၿမိဳ႕နယ္ အမည္တြင္ခဲ့ပုံ ပါးစပ္ရာဇဝင္မွာ ဒ႑ာရီလာ ငမုိးရိပ္မိေခ်ာင္းသည္ ရန္ဘက္မိေခ်ာင္းမ်ားကုိ အေရးနိမ့္ခဲ့သျဖင့္ ေဒါသူပုန္ထၿပီး ပုန္းခုိခဲ့ေသာ ေနရာျဖစ္၍ ေဒါပုံဟု ေခၚတြင္သည္လည္းေကာင္း၊ ျမစ္သုံးခုဆုိင္အဝတြင္ ရွိသျဖင့္ ဒီေရ အတက္အက် ၾကမ္းသည့္အျပင္ လႈိင္းေလထန္တတ္သျဖင့္ ေဒါပုံဟု ေခၚတြင္သည္လည္းေကာင္း ဆုိၾကသည္။

အက်ယ္အဝန္း ၁ ဒသမ ၄၇ စတုရန္းမုိင္ ရွိေသာ ေဒါပုံၿမိဳ႕နယ္သည္ ပုဇြန္ေတာင္ေခ်ာင္း တေလွ်ာက္တြင္ အေရွ႕အရပ္မွ အေနာက္အရပ္သုိ႔ ေလးမုိင္ခြဲ ရွည္ေမ်ာေမ်ာ တည္ရွိသျဖင့္ ဒီေရအတက္အက် ရွိသည္။ ေခ်ာင္းလက္တက္မ်ား ေပါမ်ားသည္။ ရႊံ႕ႏြံ ထူထပ္သည္။

ေဒါပုံၿမိဳ႕နယ္ကုိ သာေကတၿမိဳ႕နယ္၊ ပုဇြန္ေတာင္ၿမိဳ႕နယ္၊ ဗုိလ္တေထာင္ၿမိဳ႕နယ္၊ မဂၤလာေတာင္ၫႊန္႔၊ ပုဇြန္ေတာင္ေခ်ာင္း၊ ငမုိးရိပ္ေခ်ာင္း၊ သဃၤန္းကၽြန္းၿမိဳ႕နယ္တုိ႔ ဝန္းရံထားသည္။

ေဒါပုံၿမိဳ႕နယ္ကုိ ရပ္ကြက္ (၁၄)ခုျဖင့္ ဖြဲ႕စည္းထားၿပီး ဗမာေအးရပ္ကြက္၊ ႏြယ္ေအးရပ္ကြက္၊ ဗုိလ္ထြန္းဇံရပ္ကြက္၊ ၿမိိဳ႕သစ္ရပ္ကြက္၊ ၾကည္စုရပ္ကြက္၊ ေဆးစက္ရပ္ကြက္၊ ပုသိမ္ေျမရပ္ကြက္၊ ဝါဆုိရပ္ကြက္၊ ေအာင္ခ်မ္းသာရပ္ကြက္၊ လမုတန္းရပ္ကြက္၊ ယမုံနာ(၁)ႏွင့္ (၂)ရပ္ကြက္၊ ေဇယ်ာသီရိရပ္ကြက္၊ သေဘၤာက်င္းရပ္ကြက္ တုိ႔ျဖစ္သည္။

အေထြေထြအုပ္ခ်ဳပ္ေရးဦးစီးဌာနမွ စာရင္းမ်ားအရ ၎ရပ္ကြက္မ်ားတြင္ အိမ္ေျခ (၉ ၀၀၂)ခု ရွိၿပီး ေနထုိင္သည့္ အိမ္ေထာင္စု (၁၄ ၅၄၂)စု ရွိသည္။ လူဦးေရမွာ ၂၀၁၇ ခုႏွစ္ မတ္လကုန္တြင္ (၇၄ ၉၇၉)ဦး ရွိသည္။

Business Collection Group (BCG) ၏ အခ်က္အလက္မ်ားအရ စီးပြားေရး လုပ္ငန္းေပါင္း (၁ ၀၀၀)ေက်ာ္ရွိၿပီး အမ်ားစုမွာ ဝန္ေဆာင္မႈ လုပ္ငန္းမ်ား ျဖစ္ၾကသည္။ လုပ္သားအင္အားစု (၉ ၉၀၀)ဦး လုပ္ကုိင္လ်က္ရွိသည္။ စက္ရုံအေနျဖင့္ အစုိးရပို္င္ သေဘၤာက်င္းႏွင့္ ပုဂၢလိကပုိင္ ေကာေဇာစက္႐ုံတုိ႔ ရွိသည္။

စြမ္းအင္က႑မွ ဓာတ္ဆီဒီဇယ္ဆီ အေရာင္းဆုိင္ႏွင့္ သဘာဝဓာတ္ေငြ႕ အေရာင္းဆုိင္တုိ႔ မရွိေပ။

ေသာက္သုံးေရအတြက္ ေရႊအင္ၾကင္း ေရတြန္းစက္ကုိ သုဝဏၰတံတားအနီးတြင္ ထားရွိသည္။

ထင္ရွားသည့္ တံတားႏွစ္စင္းမွာ မဟာဗႏၶဳလတံတားႏွင့္ သာေကတတံတားတုိ႔ ျဖစ္သည္။

ပုဂၢလိကပုိင္ ဟုိတယ္ သုံးခု ရွိသည္။ ၎တုိ႔မွာ အခန္း (၈၇)ခန္းပါ စိန္တံခြန္၊ အခန္း (၅၀)ခန္းပါ သီရိစံအိမ္ႏွင့္ အခန္း (၃၀)ပါ ရိြဳင္ရယ္ေဘာ့စ္တုိ႔ ျဖစ္သည္။

အစုိးရပညာေရးက႑တြင္ မူလတန္းႀကိဳေက်ာင္း (၁)ခု၊ မူလတန္းေက်ာင္း (၁၂)ခု၊ အလယ္တန္းေက်ာင္း (၄)ခု၊ အထက္တန္းေက်ာင္း (၁)ခု ရွိသည္။

က်န္းမာေရးက႑တြင္ ပုဂၢလိကပုိင္ မုိးသီးအထူးကုေဆးခန္းသည္ (၁၆)ကုတင္ဆန္႔ ေဆး႐ုံငယ္တစ္ခု ျဖစ္ၿပီး လူသိမ်ားသည္။

ထင္ရွားသည့္ အပန္းေျဖပန္းၿခံမွာ ႐ႈခင္းသာအပန္းေျဖစခန္း ျဖစ္သည္။ Yangon Waterboom တည္ရွိရာ ၿမိဳ႕နယ္လည္းျဖစ္သည္။

ထင္ရွားသည့္ ေဈးမ်ားမွာ စည္ပင္ပုိင္ ေဈးမ်ားျဖစ္ၾကသည့္ ေဒါပုံေဈး၊ နဝရတ္ေဈး၊ ထြန္းဇံေဈး၊ ရတနာေဈး တုိ႔ျဖစ္သည္။ ကုန္တုိက္အေနျဖင့္ Capital Hypermart ဖြင့္လွစ္ထားသည္။
