HISTORY & BOUNDARIES
Hlaing Thar Yar Township is located in the western part of Yangon, Myanmar. It is one of the biggest townships in the country and it is also the most populated township. The township comprises 20 wards and 9 village tracts and shares borders with Htantabin Township in the north and west, Insein Township, Mayangone Township, and Hlaing Township in the east across the Yangon River, and Twante Township in the south.

Hlaing Thar Yar is the most developed of the new satellite towns founded in the 1980s. Hlaing Thar Yar Industrial Zone consisted of mostly garment and other light industries, is one of the largest industrial parks in the country. Showpiece gated communities of the wealthy like the FMI City and Pun Hlaing Garden Residences in the southeastern part of the township are the domain of the country's elite and are arguably among the best communities in the country. After Cyclone Nargis the township experienced a jump in population due to refugees.
The township is connected to other parts of Yangon across the Yangon river over the Aung Zeya Bridge and the Bayint Naung Bridge, and to Twante township over the Pan Hlaing river by the Pan Hlaing Bridge. The township has 46 primary schools, 8 middle schools and 4 high schools. Yangon Technological University also maintains a campus in Hlaing Thar Yar.
လႈိင္သာယာၿမိဳ႕နယ္ စတင္ေပၚေပါက္လာပုံမွာ မီးေဘးသင့္ ျပည္သူမ်ားကုိ ျပန္လည္ ေနရာခ်ထားေပးျခင္းမွ စတင္ခဲ့သည္ဟု ဆုိရမည္။ ၁၉၈၅ ခုႏွစ္၌ မရမ္းကုန္းၿမိဳ႕နယ္ စိန္ပန္းၿမိဳင္ ရပ္ကြက္မွ မီးေဘးဒုကၡသည္မ်ားကုိ အင္းစိန္ၿမိဳ႕နယ္ သာယာကုန္းေက်းရြာတြင္ ေနရာျပန္လည္ ခ်ထားေပးရန္ စီစဥ္ေဆာင္ရြက္ခဲ့သည္။ တဖန္ ၁၉၈၉ ခုႏွစ္တြင္ ေတာင္ဥကၠလာပၿမိဳ႕နယ္၊ ႏွင္းဆီကုန္း သဃၤန္းကၽြန္းၿမိဳ႕နယ္၊ နာနတ္ေတာ ကမာရြတ္ၿမိဳ႕နယ္တုိ႔မွ မီးေဘး ဒုကၡသည္မ်ားကုိ ျပန္လည္ ေနရာခ်ထားေပးခဲ့သည္။ ထုိ႔ေနာက္ က်ဴးေက်ာ္ေနထုိင္သူမ်ားကုိ ျပန္လည္ ေနရာခ်ထားေပးရန္အတြက္ အင္းစိန္ၿမိဳ႕နယ္မွ ေက်းရြာအုပ္စု (၅)ခုႏွင့္ ထန္းတပင္ၿမိဳ႕နယ္မွ ေက်းရြာအုပ္စု (၆)ခုတုိ႔၏ ေျမဧရိယာကုိ ၿမိဳ႕ကြက္ေဖာ္ခဲ့သည္။ ရပ္ကြက္ (၈)ခု၊ ေက်းရြာအုပ္စု (၉)စုတုိ႔ျဖင့္ လႈိင္သာယာၿမိဳ႕နယ္ကုိ ၁၉၈၉ ခုႏွစ္ ဇူလုိင္လတြင္ သတ္မွတ္ျပ႒ာန္းေပးခဲ့သည္။ ထုိ႔ေနာက္ ၁၉၉၅ ခုႏွစ္ မတ္လတြင္ ရပ္ကြက္ (၂၀)ခု၊ ေက်းရြာအုပ္စု (၉)စု တုိ႔ျဖင့္ ျပင္ဆင္ ဖြဲ႕စည္းေပးခဲ့သည္မွာ ယခုတုိင္ျဖစ္သည္။
ထင္ရွားသည့္ အဆင့္ျမင့္ အိမ္ရာစီမံကိန္းမ်ားမွာ FMI City ႏွင့္ Pun Hlaing Garden Residence တုိ႔ျဖစ္သည္။
အက်ယ္အဝန္း ၂၆ ဒသမ ၀၁ စတုရန္းမုိင္ ရွိေသာ လႈိင္သာယာၿမဳိ႕နယ္ကုိ လႈိင္ျမစ္ႏွင့္ ေရႊျပည္သာၿမိဳ႕နယ္၊ လႈိင္ျမစ္ႏွင့္ အင္းစိန္ၿမိဳ႕နယ္၊ လႈိင္ျမစ္ႏွင့္ မရမ္းကုန္းၿမိဳ႕နယ္၊ လႈိင္ျမစ္ႏွင့္ လႈိင္ၿမိဳ႕နယ္၊ ထန္းတပင္ၿမိဳ႕နယ္၊ ပန္းလႈိင္ျမစ္ႏွင့္ တြံေတးၿမိဳ႕နယ္တုိ႔ ဝန္းရံထားသည္။ လႈိင္ျမစ္ကုိ ေက်ာ္ျဖတ္ၿပီး အင္းစိန္ၿမိဳ႕နယ္သုိ႔ ကူးရန္ ေအာင္ေဇယ်ႀကိဳးတံတားႏွင့္ ေရႊျပည္သာတံတား၊ မရမ္းကုန္းၿမိဳ႕နယ္သုိ႔ ကူးရန္ ဘုရင့္ေနာင္တံတား (၁)ႏွင့္ (၂) တုိ႔ကုိ အသုံးျပဳႏုိင္သည္။ ပန္းလႈိင္ျမစ္ကုိ ေက်ာ္ျဖတ္ၿပီး တြံေတးသုိ႔ ကူးရန္ ပန္းလႈိင္တံတားကုိ အသုံးျပဳႏုိင္သည္။
အထင္ကရလမ္းမမ်ားမွာ အမွတ္(၅) လမ္းျဖစ္သည့္ ရန္ကုန္-ပုသိမ္လမ္းမႀကီးႏွင့္ လႈိင္ျမစ္လမ္း၊ က်န္စစ္သားလမ္း၊ ကေနာင္မင္းသားႀကီးလမ္းတုိ႔ ျဖစ္သည္။ ရန္ကုန္-ပုသိမ္လမ္းမႀကီးမွ ဗုိလ္ခ်ဳပ္ေအာင္ဆန္းလမ္းဆုံ၊ ေအာင္ေျမသာလမ္းဆုံတုိ႔သည္ စက္မႈဇုန္အမွတ္ ၁၊ ၂၊ ၃၊ ၄ ႏွင့္ ၆၊ ေရႊသံလြင္စက္မႈဇုန္တုိ႔မွ အလုပ္သမားဦးေရ တစ္သိန္းေက်ာ္တုိ႔ ေန႔စဥ္ အလုပ္တက္ဆင္းတြင္ လမ္းျဖတ္ကူးၾကသည့္ေနရာမ်ား ျဖစ္သည္။ စာပုိ႔သေကၤတ အမွတ္မ်ားမွာ ၁၁၄၀၁ ႏွင့္ ၁၁၄၀၂ တုိ႔ ျဖစ္သည္။
အေထြေထြအုပ္ခ်ဳပ္ေရးဦးစီးဌာနမွ စာရင္းမ်ားအရ လိႈင္သာယာၿမိဳ႕နယ္တြင္ ၂၀၁၇ ခုႏွစ္ မတ္လကုန္တြင္ အိမ္ေျခ (၅၇ ၇၇၀)ခု ရွိၿပီး အိမ္ေထာင္စု (၈၀ ၇၀၁)စု ေနထုိင္သည္။ လူဦးေရမွာ (၄၁၄ ၂၀၉)ဦး ျဖစ္သည္။ လူေနရပ္ကြက္မ်ားအျပင္ စက္မႈဇုန္မ်ား အစီအရီ တည္ရွိသည္။
Business Collection Group(BCG) မွ စဥ္ဆက္မျပတ္ ေကာက္ခံလ်က္ရွိသည့္ အခ်က္အလက္မ်ားအရ စီးပြားေရးလုပ္ငန္း (၉ ၇၀၀)ခု ရွိၿပီး လုပ္သားအင္အားစု (၂၂၈ ၅၀၀)ဦး လုပ္ကုိင္လ်က္ ရွိသည္။
ထင္ရွားသည့္ ေစတီပုထုိးမ်ားမွာ မဟာေတဇမုနိဘုရား၊ ေရႊရင္ေအးဘုရားႏွင့္ ေအာင္ေျမသာဘုရားတုိ႔ ျဖစ္သည္။

လႈိင္သာယာစက္မႈဇုန္ကုိ စက္မႈဇုန္ (၁)၊ စက္မႈဇုန္ (၂) စသျဖင့္ အမွတ္စဥ္ထုိးၿပီး စက္မႈဇုန္ (၇) အထိ သတ္မွတ္ေပးထားသည္။ လႈိင္သာယာၿမိဳ႕နယ္အတြင္းရွိ အျခားစက္မႈဇုန္မ်ားမွာ အေနာ္ရထာစက္မႈဇုန္၊ ေရႊသံလြင္စက္မႈဇုန္၊ ေမြးျမဴေရးစက္မႈဇုန္၊ ျမစိမ္းေရာင္စက္မႈဇုန္၊ ေငြပင္လယ္စက္မႈဇုန္၊ ေရႊလင္ဗန္းစက္မႈဇုန္တုိ႔ျဖစ္သည္။
စည္ပင္သာယာေရးေကာ္မတီ ေဈးမ်ားဌာနေအာက္ရွိ ထင္ရွားသည့္ ေဈးမ်ားမွာ ပင္လုံေဈး၊ ထြန္းသီရိေဈး၊ လႈိင္သာယာ(၁)ေဈး၊ ေရႊရင္ေအးေဈး၊ ေအာင္မဂၤလာေဈး၊ ပိေတာက္ၿမိဳင္ေဈး၊ က်န္စစ္သားေဈး၊ ေအာင္သုခေဈး၊ အမွတ္(၂၀) ရပ္ကြက္ေဈးတုိ႔ျဖစ္သည္။ ထုိ႔ျပင္ ရွမ္းေခ်ာင္းေက်းရြာရွိ ရွမ္းေခ်ာင္းေဈး၊ ေရဥကံၠေက်းရြာရွိ ေရဥကၠံေဈးႏွင့္ ဇုန္(၂)ေဈး၊ ေညာင္ေက်းရြာရွိ ဇုန္(၁)ေဈးတုိ႔သည္လည္း ထင္ရွားသည့္ေဈးမ်ား ျဖစ္သည္။
ထင္ရွားသည့္ ကုန္တုိက္မွာ ပုသိမ္-ရန္ကုန္လမ္းေဘးတြင္ တည္ရွိသည့္ Ocean ျဖစ္သည္။
